Introduction:
304 and 316 stainless steel filter cartridges provide the optimum filtration solution for fluids and gases in high temperature and high flow applications.
Application Areas:
Chemical Fiber Granulation Industry: Melt filtration for synthetic fibers such as polyester, nylon, polypropylene, and spandex;
Foam Particle Production: Melt purification for foam plastic particles such as EPS, EPE, and EVA;
Plastic Modification: Melt filtration and impurity removal for modified plastics and engineering plastics;
Other Applications: High-temperature melt filtration processes in melt spinning, film production, and plastic pipe extrusion.
Key characteristics and specifications:
Pleated sintered stainless steel filter elements can remove solid particles, microorganisms, and other impurities from liquids and gases (oil, water, air). Their working principle is based on using filter layers to filter and separate impurities from fluids. When liquids or gases flow through the filter element, due to the high density and microporous structure of the stainless steel filter element, impurities in the liquid or gas cannot pass through, thus achieving the purpose of filtration.
Material: Primarily 316L stainless steel, suitable for high-temperature and corrosive polymer applications.
