Polymer Metal Leaf Disc Filter Element

Polymer blade disc filters, made with sintered stainless steel (316L) wire mesh laminate or sintered metal nonwoven felt media, are ideal for polymer film production. Their unique disc design and structure help maximize the effective filtration area, shorten polymer residence time, thereby reducing the risk of polymer degradation and providing fast and efficient filtration for polymer melt filtration applications.

Furthermore, we can also provide stainless steel (304, 316, etc.), Monel alloy, or other alloys as filter media.

Working Principle: Multiple blade disc filters are installed in a horizontal filter housing. The melt containing impurities enters from the inlet and flows towards the filter element from the top and bottom. Gel-like impurities are trapped on the filter surface, while the clean melt flows from the central orifice into the central tube and then out of the container.
